A native New Yorker, Debora Meltz received her B.F.A. from The Cooper Union and holds a Master's Degree in printmaking from William Paterson University. Her award-winning artwork and photography have been exhibited nationally in galleries, colleges and museums. She has had numerous one-person exhibitions and her photographs are in several corporate collections. As a writer, her articles have appeared in ArtCalendar, The Artist’s Magazine, as well as other publications in the United States and Canada.

After decades of drawing, photography and printmaking, Debora began working with clay in 2003. Her current series of sculptures references religious myths, legends, fairy tales and folklore of the western world.
